STUDI PERFORMASI SUDU TURBIN ANGIN SAVONIUS TIPE VERTICAL AXIS BERBAHAN KOMPOSIT

Seiring dengan meningkatnya populasi manusia menyebabkan penggunaan energi fossil seperti minyak bumi juga ikut meningkat. Sedangkan merupakan salah satu penyumbang terbesar emisi karbon yang dapat perubahan iklim. Hal dilakukan untuk mengendalikan iklim tersebut adalah beralih kepada terbarukan. Studi berupa rancang bangun sudu turbin Savonius sumbu vertikal. Dimana, dibuat menggunakan bahan komposit serat variasi jumlah yaitu 4, 6 dan 8 buah. Hasil studi pengujian menggunkan sumber angin dari blower kecepatan 4m/s; 4,5m/s; 5 m/s. Dalam pengarah (wind tunnel) akriklik pipa sebagai kontruksi rangka. mendapatkan daya generator makmsimum dicapai oleh 4 pada nilai m/s 0,274 watt. output terendah berada blade senilai 0,0028 W. Lalu, memiliki cukup rendah dibandingka 6. Penelitian performasi tertinggi mencapai 9,16% efisiensi generator, sedangkan serta didapat sebesar 0,07% 8.
